Garnet's Gemsonas

Ok so playing with the doll maker, I've made a couple of gems of my own! No backstories yet.

This is Morganite. She is like Rose Quartz but smaller. More on her will develop.

Omg they are so cute! They look cuter than the ones I was trying to make. xD

This is my latest gemsona, another I have an attachment for: Watermelon Tourmaline. No story on her yet; I need to write something for her and Morganite.



The next one is Emerald.



She is an aristocratic gem, much like Sapphire. She is deeply in love with Watermelon Tourmaline but Watermelon doesn't know it. At least, not yet.

Here is Morganite and Watermelon together (with a size comparison) and their fusion, Coral!

Tbh I don't know why she was called Coral... Coral isn't a gemstone... o.o I'll probably think of another name later.

Coral is a gem though. It's just the name for one. The same way Watermelon Tourmaline isn't a watermelon.

Here we now have Kyanite, an extremely rare (rarer than Sapphire) gem who known for purity unlike any other gem. She is the result of an attempt to create the "perfect" gem. Next to her is Jade, Emerald's younger sister and warrior gem. She is meant to be more of a "samurai" gem.

I really love your designs!! <3 I like how you add pops of color so that they're not just ALL their gem color! It makes them more interesting to look at, and you have a very pretty sense of design <3!

I've been trying to pick my favorite, but I'm just not sure xD I like them all! I think Kyanite, maybe? Because she sounds like she'd have a very interesting past to learn about <3! Though I really like Emerald too and by extension, her little sister <3

Can't wait to see what else you come up with!!

I'm trying to flesh out I think Kyanite's story first because she's an interesting type of gem. In gem lore, kyanite stones cannot absorb negativity so they never need cleansing. Sounds pretty pure and pretty amaze. Maybe someone that can bring peace.

I found myself really liking Jade, too. She's a feisty one. She always looks out for her older sister and other gems.

Still thinking on Watermelon Tourmaline and on Morganite - what makes her different than Rose Quartz and such. Perhaps Morganite was supposed to be a more "proper" version of Rose Quartz that listened to commands and less likely to rebel. Not sure yet!
