Hello!

I'm Jamit and I'm sort of digging myself more and more into the Steven Universe fanbase. I found this forum on tumblr and was like... y'know I should meet and talk to more people about SU, so now I'm here.

I like to watch cartoons in general, though, and I'm going to be pursuing a major in animation. So, of course, I like to draw and animate. I also love to write(still relatively new to fanfiction) and theorize as I'm a very analytical person, or at least I think I am.

I got really into Steven Universe just because of how well thought out and how much there is to think about in the show. I also really love the process and follow a lot of the storyboard artists. I love characters and how they develop and interact and SU is really good at that. I really love thinking about the potential characters have and that's why Jasper is my favorite gem right now. I could go on and on about that but that's not what this post is about. Basically Rebecca Sugar has my dream job.

I also really love puns.

Now that that's said - I'm am a creative person myself! Well, in wordsmithing anyway. I like to write (I cannot draw to save my life). I wish you luck in pursuing your dream! I just saw a Twitter post the other day from former Crewniverse Ian Jones-Quarty who said to keep practicing and maybe dabble in other areas of the cartoon process to get your way in there. He also advised making comics to show your work. Just something to keep in mind, yeah?

I look forward to hearing about what you love in this series in different sections, especially on why Jasper is your favourite!

Hello! I'm also going to major animation after I graduate sometime in 2020. It's definitely my favorite career option. I'm pretty new to this forum , but I hope to see you around!
