Peridot

Let's talk bout our favorite green rock lady <3



After seeing whole show few times I realised how important was adding Peridot to cast. In some episodes of the show there were few situations that sadly weren't adding up. Like crystal gems lack of knowledge of jokes, birthdays, dreams and probably so on. After all episodes that aired we know they should know this things.

Not only Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl are on earth for around 5000 years they also spend a lot of time with humans. Especially after Greg and Rose hook up. Gems were showing for a long time in the show lack of intrest in human world and nothing what wasn't game related.

Somebody could argue they were too focused catching corrupted gems to pay much attention to humanity BUT for 14-teen years they knew Steven and for at least 5 years (and now 6 ) they were living with Steven on interacting with him on daily bases. So lack of knowledge about humans is more and more illogical. Especially when it's Steven teaching them this stuff directly.

However we need to acknowledge one thing. Many episodes would not have aired or have enough time  filled if crewverse would keep episodes with 100% continuity. However now with Peri on board they can do a lot of episodes like 'Too many birthdays' because they have character for who is natural to not know this things and to learn from Steven about them I know Steven is bigger and bigger inspiration and mor and more of leader for gems but I think we need to appreciate Peridot. Because she is first gem i can say was honestly and on her own interested in getting to know earth ion her own and to get to understand earth and it's beings in her own Peri way. And she is nice team up with many characters bringing interesting parts of characters and ideas to the team and for us into episodes

I hope to see more of her soon.

Peridot is legitimately one of my favorites (though I love everyone so, so much >.>)

I'll admit - at first, I didn't think she was very special. I thought the fandom was hyping up and making up a bunch of crap and just latching onto her because she was a villain and everybody just LOVES a villain. But then, she got more fleshed out. She was beginning to have true character and traits that just keep showing through and developing today.

I think that's what makes Steven Universe special - it's possible to not like someone at first or think they're not anything "wow"-worthy. But then, they develop and become amazing characters.

When we DID see her, I figured she was the modern day Pearl. Now I feel like she's like Pearl but for technology. Pearls serve like a servant and Peridots deal with technological stuff.

As soon as her limb enhancers were out of the picture, she quickly became tie with Pearl as my favourite Gem.
So cute... so green...

I hope she eventually reforms with a star! That's all I ever want ;w;

It's interesting - it's almost like her limb enhancers made her that scheming clod and then without them she just became this cute, lovable dork.

I'm just hoping that she'll be poofed asap XD
I know that's cruel but I wanna see Peristar so badly ;w;!!

There are armies of designs of peri with Stars. And honestly I want to see it asap <3
