Pokemon Sun & Moon Thread

Here's a lil thread for discussion of the upcoming Pokemon games. Share any news you find, share what version you're getting, what starter you're leaning towards, etc. etc.

So, I am getting Moon as of right now. Honestly all 3 starters are open to me - it'll depend upon the final evolution which one I'll choose. I love Rowlett the most right now but Popplio is really growing on me (not that I didn't like it to begin with - dunno why it gets hate).

I think I'll be getting Sun, but it depends on the exclusives. As for the starter, definitely Rowlet unless I reaaally dislike it's evos. Despite all this hype, I REALLY hope they don't pull off another Gen 6 and only add like 60 new Pokemon! Like yeah they made up with megas but pleaaase I need some more Pokemonnn!

Personally if we're gonna see new megas I expect some gen 6 ones! ^w^

I always assumed I'd be getting Moon because I'm just attached to "moon" for many different reasons, but that Sun Lion is adorable and I dunno, maybe I'll end up getting him instead D: Normally I don't care so much, and just either go for the game name I like best, or go by the pokemon on the cover, but maybe this will be the first time I do research before picking my game xD

I want a Rowlet sooo much! I'm such a huge lover of owls and bird pokemon are my favorite, and I hugely adore grass pokemon, so its evolutions will have to be SUPER bad for me not to pick him as my starter <3

I am probably getting Moon, I've always been drawn to it xD

I'm actually pretty happy with all the designs thus far. Only one Pokemon I don't like and that's because she is purposefully ugly. But other than that, I haven't seen any Pokemon that feels like a disappointment. That might be a good sign for starter evos.

I really want Tapu Koko though there are people saying it's a legendary...

I swear the older I get the weirder pokemon designs are getting. That's not going to stop me from buying the game or playing xD

It's funny because every new generation feels weird. It's kinda like "wtf you're not a Pokemon!" until you become familiar with them. Even though I'm seeing these new Pokemon for Sun and Moon and while they're so far pretty decent, I'm just kinda like "but you're not a Pokemon" lol.

My favourite one that I go wtf you're not a pokemon is the ice cream cone ones I'm like...okay there Nintendo you're reaching a bit here xD Please try again. 

I think I'm just old and grumpy and just prefer the first 150 + all eeveelutions 

Two new Pokemon have been revealed. I actually like them both XD

They're called Kiteruguma (the bear which is also normal/fighting) and the Pikachu-looking ghost is Mimikkyu (ghost/fairy). More information on them can be found at Serebii.

I'm having a lot of options this generation and a lot of fairy types that I like to add to my team.

I want a team completely full of mimikkyu's to be honest.

I was pretty amazed at how cute it was! And it's typing is amaze!

The details and summaries serebii has for all the pokemon in sun and moon are pretty great so far to be honest.

Mmhmm. I hope that there are new mega's along with the new form that appeared in the anime show up in sun and moon.

I just saw Rockruff, and ooooh my goodness, what an adorable thing that is I also have a weakness for bird pokemon, and that little Pikipek is so cute xD

Isn't mimikkyu's design just beautiful and yeah that trailer is really cute.

So much new information - everyone, to Serebii right now and look at the new stuff.

Oh mannn I saw, the variations thing is really mind blowing!

OMG D: That Vulpix and Ninetails!!! And that Fomantis is soooooo cute I want one like yesterday xD Lots of new interesting things to look to. The Z thingy seems cool and very impressive. I hope I'll use them because they look really neat, but I'm the type of player who rarely ever uses Mega Evolutions. Maybe I'm just being a cranky old lady xD

I don't know what version I'm going to get since any pokemon I want but can't find I can't get through trade.

I'm all about new type hybrids so I'm hyped for Drampa, Mimikyu, and Alola Raichu.
