Lapis' Gemsonas!

SO I made a few Gemsonas a while ago that have been lost to the void but here is the Gemsona maker version of one of them xD



This is Chrysocolla. She has no mouth, therefore she cannot speak. The old version of her had bandages over her eyes so she couldn't see but I changed that. She's very no nonsense, and she's an excellent fighter. She's a defect of her gem type (no mouth), which forced her to see the part of Homeworld culture that degrades and demonizes any gem that is less than perfect. Seeing this side of Homeworld caused her to join Rose's rebellion when it came around, but before she could escape to Earth with the rest of the troupe she was caught by the Homeworld army and her Gem was cracked, effectively trapping her in her own Gem. Thousands of years later  she was brought to Earth on Jasper's ship as possible soldiers to be exploited against the remaining Crystal Gems should an army be needed, but when the ship crashed she luckily landed in Rose's Healing Fountain, and her Gem was healed allowing her to regenerate.

She's a Gem of few words but when she does have something to say she can project scenes that she has witnessed from her gem. Think Pearls holographic capabilities paired with Lapis speaking to Steven when she was still in the mirror. She can manipulate and edit what she's seen people do and say to form coherent thoughts.

The white beads in her hair act as pretty decoration, and one part of her weapon. She can control them to un-weave from her hair and into one long chain of incredibly heavy beads that can be used as a whip or to crush things, or attach onto the second part of her weapon which is a giant double edged axe head that she can call forth from her gem. Once she attaches the chain to the axe head it becomes something similar to Sugilite's Flail, just with an axe at the end and really heavy beads along the rope that can be used as well.

Her design is so cool! And I love her backstory!

Oooh, I love this so much!! She's beautiful, love her hair xD and I loved reading about her backstory! The fact she has no mouth really makes for an interesting character xD I do hope we get to see her in the RP section, I want to learn more!

Made a new one!



This is Datolite! She is an archival Gem, meaning she is meant only to store thousands of years of information within her gem. Datolites are very monotone and have no emotion, making them more efficient at recording information. She used to be the same way until she was assigned to gather information on Rose's Rebellion, and was sent to Earth. Upon seeing the carnage of the War, she began to feel emotions she had never experienced before and she panicked. She warped to the nearest planet, disabled the warp pad on that planet so no one could come after her via it, and watched as the war raged for thousands of years until Homeworld finally pulled out.

She knew Homeworld would just as soon shatter a traitor as look at them so she never called them to rescue her. Instead she spent thousands of years on the planet in solitude, until one of Peridot's robots found her broken warp pad and fixed it before returning to Earth. She then used to pad to return to Earth as well and has since been exploring everything that has come to live on the planet after the war.

She is timid and worrisome, and OCD about organization and sorting. As an archival gem, she has to compartmentalize thousands of years of information for easy access when needed so anything out of order really bothers her. She's also INSANELY curious about everything the Earth has to offer, especially Humans. She wants to know everything about them, particularly about their emotions and how they deal with them. As she is new to experiencing emotions herself she finds humans and their ability to work around them fascinating. She also has no sense of human customs, including privacy and on several occassions she has walked into a bathroom while it was occupied in order to understand the use of them xD Needless to say she's a handful

She is super cute omg!

This is Vesuvianite! She was a Homeworld assassin back before the war but when she came to Earth to help with the war efforts she met Rose Quartz who changed her whole outlook on life and on what Homeworld was doing to the planet and decided to defect. The pink star is a tattoo she gave herself once she defected to show her loyalty to Rose and her cause.

Tattoo a gem is extremely difficult and painful but Vesuvianite did it because she cannot regenerate. Assassin gems are born without the ability to regenerate because Homeworld believes that if you cannot do your job without getting physically hurt then you don't deserve to be given a second chance. So they are almost human like in the fact that any Vesuvianite that is poofed does not have the ability to regenerate and if effectively trapped in their gem until they are shattered.

Because of this fact Vesuvianite's are rigorously trained from the beginning to be the best assassins in the cosmos. They are silent, quick, and deadly and most of them will shatter a gem without blinking an eye. But Rose's Vesuvianite swore and oath to Rose to use her training for the rebellion's efforts and only shatter a gem when it was absolutely necessary.


When she realized that the Diamonds were going to use their corruption weapon on Earth in order to get rid of the rebellion, Vesuvianite when into hiding deep within the Earth, and has only now emerged, thousands of years later.

Her weapon manifests on her forearms where her gems are. They are an arm gauntlet type of thing with curved blades that parallel her arm, so that she can twist and jump and slash at her enemies. She is so well trained with them that they are like deadly second limbs.

They kind of look like this but instead of holding onto them with her hands they are a part of her arms and gems so that her hands are free to use. They extend from the elbow to the wrist.

Someone was clearly inspired last night.

Lol I actually made her a few days ago I just didn't have a chance to post her until now xD Although I did come up with her backstory last night xD

I made a 4th Gemsona but I'm not sure if I like her or not lol
